Treatment Process

More than a polished surface
HydraFacial uses a controlled fluid-and-suction system to loosen surface build-up, remove suitable congestion and deliver hydration. It can give the skin a cleaner, smoother and more refreshed appearance without the recovery associated with more intensive procedures.
The technology provides the steps; professional judgement decides how they should be used. Sensitive, inflamed or compromised skin should not be pushed through the same treatment as resilient, congested skin.

HydraFacial may be suitable for
- Blackheads and congestion
- Dull or tired-looking skin
- Dehydration
- Rough Texture
- Enlarged or visible pores
- Skin that needs a refreshed appearance before an occasion

What happens during your appointment
We assess the skin before selecting the appropriate treatment steps. The HydraFacial handpiece is used to cleanse and exfoliate, loosen and remove suitable congestion with suction, and replenish the skin with hydration.
We pay attention to comfort and to how the barrier responds. If an area is irritated, highly sensitive or does not need extraction, we adapt rather than treating the whole face identically.

Results and limitations
The skin often looks fresher and feels smoother and more hydrated after treatment. Congestion may appear reduced and pores may look less noticeable when the surface is cleaner.
HydraFacial does not permanently change pore size, cure acne or replace corrective treatments for deeper scars and pigmentation. Where another treatment is likely to achieve more, we will say so.

Recovery and aftercare
Most clients have little downtime. Temporary redness, sensitivity or tightness can occur, particularly when the skin has been exfoliated or congestion has been removed. Keep the routine gentle afterwards and use appropriate sun protection.
We will explain what to pause and when to restart it. SAPEDA aftercare is recommended only when it suits your skin.

When we would adapt or postpone
Active infections, open wounds, severe irritation or certain medical conditions and medications may make HydraFacial unsuitable or require adaptation. We also avoid aggressive extraction over inflamed acne. Suitability is assessed before treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Does HydraFacial hurt?
Most clients find it comfortable. You may feel light suction and cool fluid across the skin. We reduce or avoid suction where the skin needs a gentler approach.
Will it remove all blackheads?
It can remove suitable surface congestion, but not every blockage should be forced in one session. Deeper or inflamed lesions may need a different plan.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It can be adapted, but suitability depends on why the skin is sensitive and how stable the barrier is on the day.
Is there downtime?
Usually very little. Mild redness, sensitivity or tightness can occur and generally depends on the treatment intensity and your skin’s response.
How often can I have HydraFacial?
Some clients book it occasionally, while others use it for maintenance. The right interval depends on congestion, sensitivity, routine and goals.
How is it different from Carbon Laser Peel?
Both can refresh congested skin. HydraFacial uses fluid and suction for cleansing, extraction and hydration; Carbon Laser Peel uses carbon lotion and laser energy. We choose according to your skin and concern.
Clean, hydrated, but still your skin.
