Treatment Process

  • Treat the pattern, not just the spot

Aggressive cleansing can make acne-prone skin feel temporarily stripped without solving why it keeps becoming inflamed or congested. We look at the whole pattern and avoid treating every breakout as if it needs the strongest possible intervention.

Some skin needs careful extraction and exfoliation. Other skin first needs less irritation, fewer actives and better barrier support. Often, the right plan changes over time.

  • What happens during your appointment

We discuss your current routine, how the acne behaves and anything that may be affecting it. After cleansing and assessing the skin, we choose the appropriate combination of exfoliation, careful extraction, calming treatment and hydration.

We do not force extractions or overload inflamed skin. When another approach such as Microneedling for acne scars, Carbon Laser Peel for congestion, or medical assessment for more severe acne is more appropriate, we explain that clearly.

  • Progress rather than overnight perfection

The first goal may be less inflammation, fewer new blockages or a skin barrier that tolerates treatment better. Visible progress often comes from a combination of professional care, a manageable home routine and enough time to see how the skin responds.

We assess the plan as we go. Acne can change with hormones, stress, medication and life stage, so the treatment must be able to change with it.

  • Home care that the skin can actually follow

More products do not automatically mean more progress. We help you remove unnecessary irritation and build a routine that is realistic enough to use consistently. SAPEDA is included only where a product fits the skin and the treatment goal.

  • When we refer or postpone

We do not treat over active infections, open wounds or severely irritated skin. Painful nodules, sudden severe acne, suspected medical causes or acne that is not responding may need assessment by a GP or dermatologist. Professional skin care can support acne, but it does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Frequently asked questions

No. Inflamed lesions should not be forced, and not every blockage is suitable for extraction. We decide what can be treated safely.

No facial can promise to cure acne. We aim to reduce congestion, support the barrier and build a plan that helps the skin behave more steadily.

Yes, when the treatment and home advice are kept appropriate, clear and manageable. A parent or guardian may need to be involved depending on age and salon policy.

Yes. We take the higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation into account and avoid unnecessarily aggressive treatment.

Active acne and acne scarring are different concerns. Once breakouts are sufficiently controlled, Microneedling or another treatment may be considered for suitable scars and marks.

That depends on the type and persistence of the acne and how the skin responds at home and in the treatment room. We review progress instead of selling a fixed course to everyone.
